Dectomax Injectable

Manufacturer: Pfizer Animal Health
Registered Name Dectomax Injectable Endectocide
Composition Doramectin 10 mg/mL; nonirritant oil base.
Actions Doramectin is a persistent, broad spectrum, macrocyclic lactone which produces paralysis in exposed parasites, which in turn leads to expulsion of the parasite from the host animal. Doramectin acts by binding to nematode and arthropod glutamate-gated receptors, which are closely associated with GABA-gated sites, resulting in the activation of chloride ion channels and subsequent neuromuscular blockade.
